Position Title: Manufacturing Engineering -Machining

 Location: Dongguan, Guangdong

Position Summary

Research and develop machining and auxiliary processes, improve and service the production line, establish the manufacturing engineering standard to get new products SOP, improve product quality and production effectiveness, and reduce the production cost.

 

Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Research the new machining and auxiliary processes, machines, tools and measuring device to complete the new product development.

Design new production line, including layout, Process flow, Cycle time balancing, PFMEA & Control Plan, and etc.

Improve the production effectiveness, product quality improving, cost reduction:

Design and apply new processes, new fixture, new tool, new material, new measuring device and new machine.

Solve technology and quality problems.

Optimize operating flow and material flow, cycle time.

Break bottle neck process.

Train and instruct operators.

Establish machining standard and maintain them. Collect and document the database of machining, including machine, cutting tools' specification and parameters. And update them according to any changes.

 Interface with other function departments to finish work:

1. Provide the technology spec. to Purchasing Dept to finish the purchasing of machines and materials.

2. Solve the problems regarding to employee's safety, health and environment.

3. Involve the work regarding to measuring and testing.

4. Assist the facility and maintenance departments to keep the machines running well.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Engineering or above .

+2 years’ experience in machining within Automotive Industry Area.

Experience with PFMEA, APQP and SPC tools.

Experience with CNC machine (Lathe and Vertical & Horizontical MC,) operation is must.

Experience with Grinding machine, Balancing machine, Friction welding machine, or EB welder is a plus.

Experience with development production CNC program;

Experience with GD&T skill

Experience with manufacturing software tools (CAD/CAM, Pro-E etc.)

Familiar with computer skills

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerances;
